Welcome campers! We’re so glad to see so many happy faces here at Cedar Lake Camp this year. The turnout was record-breaking in both the staff and campers. We know that everyone is going to have a blast this week, and we hope that nobody is going to get too homesick. To stay healthy and happy in this new environment, here are some helpful safety tips that we would like you to follow:

1. Stay away from and do not feed the wild animals, regardless of how cute or harmless they may look.

2. Stay away and don’t pull the fire alarms (unless there is an actual fire,) or serious  consequences will follow.

3. If you or your fellow campers are hurt in any way, seek the doctor in room 9 at the right end of the hall, first floor of Herriman Lodge.

4. Stay hydrated and nose-bleed free by drinking lots of water, (more than you would normally, ) and cutting down on sugar intake.

5. Always stay close to your group - never wander off, especially during the field trip to Big Bear Lake. We really don’t want any lost campers.

The general rule is: It is better to be safe than sorry. Take extra precautions so you and your fellow campers can get as much out of this fun experience as is possible.
