Course Description

Attitude is one of the key factors for
successful leadership. Knowing
what attitudes leaders usually possess and how to cultivate these
attitudes is important for leadership training.
This course will use an interactive approach to introduce
students to leadership attitude.
The content of the course covers the following topics: (1)
Differences between leaders and followers, (2) Positive forces
influencing our life, (3) Vision development and determination, (4)
The power of enthusiasm, (5) Never give up, and (6) Embracing the
pure joy of work. Students
will be engaged in group discussions, instant performances, and team
work activities throughout the course.
They are expected to achieve the following learning
objectives after taking the course: (1) Understand the importance of
attitude in leadership, (2) Describe appropriate ABCs (attitudes,
behaviors, and characteristics) of leaders, (3) Learn ways to
cultivate leadership attitude, and (4) Practice ways to apply
leadership attitudes and skills to the educational environment that
they will encounter in Taiwan. |
